AUROS Group, based in Pittsburgh, PA, is a pioneer in the delivery of Evidence-based Performance for the built environment. We believe that prescriptive based approaches to building sustainability, while helpful, are not enough to support building owner’s and project teams. Project stakeholders expect buildings to operate as planned, while effectively returning on an owner’s investment. Our flagship product is AUROS360, which exists to deliver performance in the forms of dramatically improved indoor air and environmental quality and reduced energy consumption.
AUROS360 is the first system of its kind to link planning to operations giving owners and developers transparent control to balance building performance goals, first costs for construction and long term operating costs. AUROS360 optimizes building performance aligning building owner’s fundamental principles to targeted performance metrics for indoor air and environmental quality and energy consumption.
Our pledge, as we challenge old paradigms and inspire project stakeholders in the commercial building industry, is to ensure all partners and collaborators are enabled to do their best work using AUROS360 tools and technologies. A holistic, data-driven approach to building performance is the key to scale aspirational sustainability goals for buildings, communities and cities.

Products and Services: automotive (biodiesel conversion systems for medium and heavy-duty trucks)
Achievements of Interest: Optimus Technologies designs and builds low-cost fuel system technology for medium and heavy-duty diesel engines to run 100% biodiesel. In the U.S., there are approximately 8.3 million medium and heavy-duty vehicles that consume 37 billion gallons of diesel fuel annually and account for 25% of vehicle-generated greenhouse gas emissions. Optimus enables fleets to utilize domestically-produced, renewable fuel, reduce lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions by 80% or more, and lower fuel costs by at least 10%. Optimus is focused on providing clients a seamless transition to renewable fuels that is compatible with existing infrastructures while minimizing disruptions to their daily operations and reducing their operating costs. Optimus’ systems have been operating on 25 City of Pittsburgh garbage trucks for years, offsetting approximately 66,000 gallons of diesel fuel every year. This equates to a lifecycle GHG reduction per year of 1.2 million pounds of CO2!
